Nurture’s unique design moves away from the traditional clinical vet practices. Our top priority when your dog visits us is that they are comfortable and content, and we also strive to ensure you have a relaxing visit too.

Here’s how our team are committed to creating a truly dog-friendly space for you and your beloved companion:

1. We have separate waiting areas from cats to minimise stress for your dog
2. If your dog needs to stay with us for the day or longer, we have comfortable dog patient wards
3. Our whole team are trained in the care that our canine patients will benefit from
4. Our dog advocates meet regularly to discuss how we can be ever better in the care we provide for dogs

Unlike many vet practices in Wells & Weston-super-Mare, we offer longer 20-minute vet consultations, and your vet will sit down with you at a desk for the first part of your appointment. This can be especially helpful when there is a lot of information to share and take in. Your dog will then receive a thorough nose-to-tail check and your vet will work with you to create the optimal treatment plan.

Our nurturing vet dentists based at our Wells & Weston-super-Mare Practices can keep your dog’s oral health in tip top condition. A healthy mouth equals a content dog so enquire about our vet dentist service for dogs.

Laparoscopic, or ‘keyhole’ surgery allows our team of veterinary surgeons to complete minimally invasive procedures. The most popular, routine procedure we offer is laparoscopic neutering, sometimes known as a keyhole spay or a female dog spay.
