Nurture understands how trusting somebody with the care of your pet can feel daunting. We endeavour to work with clients to become an extension of your relationship with your pet.
Part of our ethos is to allow pets to develop a trusting bond with our team. Nurture is different as we take time with each individual patient and work out what approach is best for them.
We pride ourselves on the way we take care of your pets
At both our vet practices in Wells and Weston, we help pets live well through our bespoke approach to pet care.
Our unique Nurture design moves away from the traditionally clinical vet practices; we put pet wellbeing at the core of everything we do. To alleviate stress, our waiting rooms have designated areas for dogs, cats & small furries, and we can also support the needs of more anxious pets – just ask our team about this.
Our large and comfortable vet consulting rooms all include a desk and chairs. This, coupled with our longer 20-minute appointments means that our vets can sit with you to listen to your concerns and work with you to create a tailored treatment plan that suits you and your pet – get to know our team.

Unique cat care
If your beloved cat needs to stay with us as a day patient or overnight, they will be cared for in our specially designed cattery – the only one of its kind in the area. Learn more about our cattery’s individually controlled resting pods (as seen in the photo above) and the care we provide for cats of all ages at Nurture.

We are extremely proud of our dedicated & passionate team – they are the reason that Nurture is able to be so unique and provide exceptional pet & people care. Ensuring they are happy and able to be their best selves at work is paramount to us. We also actively help to nurture the next generation of vets & veterinary nurses – learn more & meet our team.

At Nurture we are passionate about reducing the impact that the veterinary industry has on planet Earth. Responsible antibiotic use, recycling and reducing waste where possible, and reducing the amount of medicines exposed to the environment is part of Nurture’s mission.
