- Try to remain calm – your pet will pick up on your emotions.
- If your pet has ingested or come into contact with something toxic, write down what it is, the time of contact, and quantity, and keep any packaging if possible – our emergency vets will need this information.
- Call before travelling to us – our team will give you emergency advice over the phone and advise whether your pet needs to be seen straight away and where.
